That did it. The stallion had been willing to choke down his pride and quietly answer to the mare�s every whim but when she flattened her auds and proceeded to ignore him despite his efforts at reconcile, he lets loose a terse snort before wandering off elsewhere. If she didn�t want him there, he saw no reason why he should stay. Although so far he�d kept his pride on a tight leash, he wasn�t going to resort to begging no matter what. Smooth strides carrying him off towards the other end of the row of pastures, he goes about �visiting� other horses. Some of the mares snapped at him and he immediately took off, but some were willing to briefly exchange whickers and snorts. As for the stallion, they either ignored him or let loose clarion calls of challenge, which the chestnut in turn, completely ignored for now.
