His footsteps paces the courtyard restlessly, creating a shimmering dust cloud that rose slowly to be swept away by the wind almost instantly. He glanced at the sun, calculating the time and frowning with impatience. The man and the mare were supposed to be here almost an hour ago. Where the hell were they? He had spent a whithering two hour maticulously cleaning out three of the the ten stalls in one of the lesser barns; clearing them of cobwebs and rebedding them, only to have to wait around for another hour for the first of his recent aqusitions to appear. So much for the guy's tip, he thought maliciously, kicking visously at a hardened ball of mud, which broke up under his boot.
