|the masculine grins and points the wand, directing it at a nearby chair. simple. cake. another second, and the chair is a gruesome serpent. standing tall like a cobra, it's nearly ten feet in length, spitting sparks. an acidic green, it's scales look oily in the light and it's red eyes blaze. long, deadly fangs snap, and it's mace-like tail lashes. another blink, and it's once more a chair. the brute looks down at the silver instrument, and chuckles quietly. it would do. it would do quite nicely|

.the fatale watches her companion's little performance, and scoffs. with a pointed look and a roll of her eyes, she takes aim and fires. no pun intended. the forementioned chair explodes into a mass of writhing flames, small comets that reduce the furniture to ash. an innocent grin flashes the mascu's way, and the fae lowers her slender arm. take that.
