He looked around at the busy barn while Lola was gone. He watched billions of 4 year old Arabian mares (we're overrun by them), and the small amount of other horses there. Riders were running this way and that, dropping brushes on the ground and quickly bending to pick them up, and staggering under a pile of tack they were bringing from one place to the next. He looked jealously at the horses being led into the riding ring, but greeted Lola happily when she returned to the trailer. He was happy when she took his halter off, and ate the treats greedily.
