1. You would be better served communicating directly with the race director.

2. Once you start making exceptions so someone can get in, someone else is going to be left out.

3. There was plenty of time to get into the race. ( I waited until only 29 spots were left before I committed) Same situation at any race with a cap.

4. Do you have any experience putting on a first year race, with 1,000 runners, covering 13.1 miles. Logistical nightmare, comes to mind.

4. I'll reserve any criticism of the race, until after it has been run.

5. Not everyone can be part of the inaugural if that's your major concern. ( there's another half the following weekend, inaugural as well ? )

6. The only affliation the Pacers have with this race is a Paid sponsorship of one of the water stations. ( you can buy one if you'd like, or perhaps get a comp entry at one of the other sponsorship levels)
