Yes, I agree not all sequels are good, but most are interesting continuations of stories...mostly they get made if people shell out the money to go see them...once one bombs (with the exception of stuff like Batman that has years of material to draw from) they stop getting made. Then again, there were 7 Police Academy movies... As far as Batman goes...the director was the one who messed the last ones up...he was a fan of the garrish, campy version of Batman which had not been seen since the 70's...and I am asking for a boycott of the catwoman movie because it's not even about that character.
