This story is based on the first story from Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul two.
Rachel, Neena, and Neni are all sisters and best friends. Rachel and Neni are twins and they are both seniors. Neena is two years younger than Rach and Mocha (Neni). Rachel is with Marq and Mocha is with Kel. Rach and Mocha always have friends at their house all the time.
At the girls house
Rachel: (yelling) Nee Nee, do you have my DKNY shirt?
Neena: (yelling) No. What DKNY shirt?
Rachel: (standing in the frame of her doorway) The red one I wear with my DKNY shoes and overalls.
Neena: Ohhhh that one. Yeah I got it.
Rachel: Welll can I have it please. I need it.
Neena: Ok. Chill. (she gets the shirt out of her dresser). Here. (hands it to her.)
Rach: Thanks (pinching her cheeks) your sooo sweet.
Nee: Yeah yeah I know this already. Anyway I am going to be studying so can you and your company try and keep it down please.
Rach: Yessss Anything for you. (Pinches her cheeks again and goes back to her room and starts singing loudly) It ain’t none of yo friends business ain’t none of yo friends business what we’ll be doing tonight
Nee: Shut up.
(ding dong)
Mocha: (yelling) I got it. (opens the door) Hey guys come on in. Hey Kel.
Kel: Hey sweetie. (gives her a hug)
Marq: Where’s Rach?
Mocha: Upstairs singing.
Marq: I’ll be back Imma go get her. (he goes upstairs)
Rach: (still singing) When I see you with your friends all I can say is mm mm damn mm. When I see you with yo friends all I can say is mm mm damn hmm.
Marq: (starts laughing)
Rach: (turns around) Ohh so you think that is funny huh.
Marq: (trying to stop laughing) No.
Rach: mmhmm. Anyway (gives him a hug) Hi. Is everyone else here yet?
Marq: Yeah they are all downstairs.
Rach: Well then let’s go.
(They go downstairs)
Rach: Hey yall.
Everyone: Hey.
Rach: (sits down next to Marq on the couch) Ok soo let’s start this planning for prom please.
Jay: For what I am not going.
Kellie: Okay boy if you don’t shut up you are gonna get slapped.
Kim: I know man you know Natina is waiting for you to ask her.
Jay: And I don’t like her. Everybody know she is a freak.
Brandon: What’s wrong with that?
Kim: (hits him) Shut up Brandon.
Jay: Man yall go ahead and start planning. Imma go get something to eat.
Everyone: Like always. (laughs)
Rach: Alright you know where it is.
Jay: (goes in the kitchen and is in the refrigerator rappin) Left left left left left right left get on up get on up right left. A-T-L-A-N-T-A G-A that’s where I stay all day.
Neena: If you didn’t notice this is L.A.
Jay: (startled comes out of the fridge) Oh I didn’t know anyone was in here.
Neena: I thought everyone was in the rec room planning prom.
Jay: They are but I am not.
Neena: Why not.
Jay: Cuz I am not going to prom. There isn’t anyone to ask.
Neena: Oh.
Jay: You are Rach and Mocha’s sister right?
Neena: Yeah.
(they continue to talk)
David: I hope Jay didn’t go up in there and get stuck in the fridge. Let me go check on him.
(back in the kitchen)
David: Jay man what are you doing?
Jay: Talkin to Neena.
David: Oh well we are tryin to decide colors and stuff so you need to get out there before Mocha comes and gets you.
Jay: Alright man. Neena it was nice talking to you.
Neena: Same here I am going to study.
(They all go their separate ways)
(back in the livingroom)
Kel: Dang man it took you long enough. What were you doing?
Jay: Talking to Neena. She is real coo.
Mocha: Mmhmm anyway I want to wear blue, is that coo Kel or do you want a different color.
Kel: Nah that’s coo.
Rach: I want white. Marq you like that.
Marq: Yeah I like it.
Kim: I want pink.
Brandon: Nah I am not sportin pink.
Kellie: Here we go. Anyway let’s get this solved first. I want red is that coo David.
David: Yeah.
Marq: K Jay you are left.
Jay: For what.
Kel: A color man.
Jay: Alright green. Even thought I am not going.
Everyone: Will you shut up.
Kellie: K well it looks like everyone has a color except Kim and Brandon.
Rach: Surprise surprise.
Kim: I want to wear pink with silver.
Brandon: I will wear silver but I am not going to be seen in anything pink. It’s whack.
Kim: K then fine wear silver.
(They continue planning for prom)
(Three weeks later.)Neena is in the living room watching Sister Sister reruns.Someone knocks at the door.

Neena:(open the door)how's there? Hey!!!
jay:hey(give her a hug)Is ur sisters here??
Neena: ummm no they are gone with kellie and kim!I thought all of u guys were goin to the movies??
jay:oh they are but that's not til later doe!!
Neena:oh well they're not here!!!
jay: oh ok well can i at least come in??
Neena:oh sorry yea(he comes in and followin her)
jay:so what were u doin?
Neena:(goes into the patio)oh i was reading
jay:reading??
Neena:yea u should try it sometimes!!(they sit at the table by the pool)
jay:(look at her crazy)yea may later
Neena:(laughs)ok...soo ummm did u ever find u a date for prom?
jay:nah!i'm still not goin!!!
neena:why??
jay:b/c i have no date and imma but with the guys and they all have their women and what i got?? NUTTIN!! imma find stupid standin by the wall while everyone else is dancin!!
Neena: yea i feel ya!! it is hard to be with peeps that got dates and u all by urself!!
jay:yup so why aren't u goin?? i mean u can go with ur sisters!
Neena:yea ri!! Rach and Neni will kill me if they see hangin around them plus they see me as their lil "Sis" they always pinchin my cheeks and tellin me how cute i am
jay:you are!!!neways who's Neni?
Neena:(blushin) Mocha!
jay: oh ..well that's not tru i mean u cool and everything they wouldn't do that to u!!
neena:yea sure!
jay:well i think u should go!! It's fun!! i bet you will have a fun time!!
neena: ok i'll think about it plus neways u need to take ur own advice!!! I mean this is ur last dance!!(smile)
jay:yea i kno!!don't u kno u have a nice smile!!
neena:(blush)thanx!!
jay:well i got to go and see if i can find them!! Nice talkin to u!!
Neena:yea same here well i guess i'll see u later!!
jay:ok but not too later!!(stop at the door)
neena:(laugh) u silly well bye!!
jay:yea i kno bye!(they exchange hugs and he leaves)
*At the movies*
*They all see Jay runnin up*
Marq: Man what took you soo long?
Jay: Oh I was at Rach and Mocha's house.
Mocha: For what you knew we wasn't there?
Jay: I thought yall hadn't left yet.
Rach: Well dang it took you forever to get here. Why?
Jay: I was talkin to Neena.
Kim: Well we almost missed the movie. So come on let's go.
*They go into the movies*
Jay: *whispering* Aye David, I think I got a date.
David: Date for what?
Jay: Prom.
David: *kinda loud* Forreal who.
Kellie:*taps him*Shh.
David:*taps her back*Sorry. *to Jay* So who is it?
Jay: Neena.
David: *loud*Neena. Rach and Mocha sister.
Rach: *to David* Boy if you don't shut up.
Marq: *to Rach* Girl calm down.
David:*whispering*Anyway you gon ask her?
Jay: Yea she is real cool. I was talkin to her today.
David: I could tell you liked her.
Jay: I didn't say all that.
David: Well I did. Do ya thang whoadey.
*Outside after the movies*
Kim: David you were bein hella loud. What was you and Jay talkin about?
Jay: Huh. Oh about prom.
Kellie: What about it. You got a date yet?
Jay: I just might.
Mocha: Who Natina?
Jay: Hell nah. You'll see. Are we going back to yall house?
Rach: If yall want to.
Everyone: I'm down.
Rach: Ok, then we will see yall there. Come on Marq.*they leave*
*At Rach and Mocha house*
Mocha: Damn, I know Jay didn't get lost. Where the hell is he?
*knock*
*knock*
Mocha: It's open.
Jay: *comes through the door* My bad yall. Anyway, I am going to get something to eat. I will be back.
Rach: That's nothin new. You know where it's at.
*Jay goes into the kitchen*
Jay:*talkin to hisself* I gotta hurry up.*opens the back door and gets some roses and balloons he left out there and goes upstairs.* Now which room is hers.*goes to a room* Nope that's Rachs room wit all this ish that Marq gave her.*goes to another room* Ok this must be Neenas.*knocks on the door no answer so he goes in* Damn where she at?
voice: Where is who at?
Jay: *jumps and turns around* Oh huh.
voice: where is who at?
Jay: Oh. You. Sorry, I shouldn't be in ya room.
Neena: It's ok. What you got all that stuff for?
Jay: Oh it's for you.
Neena: Oh thanx.*gives him a hug* But why?
Jay: Well see, I wanted to know if you would go with me to prom?
Neena:*kinda shocked* Yea sure.
Jay: Ok cool. Well I have to go back downstairs before they start worrying about me.
Neena: Ok talk to you later.
Jay: *goes down the stairs*
Mocha: Umm what were you doing upstairs?
Rach: And don't say you got lost.
Jay: I wasn't going to. I was going to say, I was looking for Neena.
Kellie: For what?
David: So he could ask her to prom.
Everybody: Say what!?!
Kim: You asked Nerz to prom?
Jay: Yea, is that bad?
Brandon: No it's cool. Now you got a date. Well me and Kim need to be outro so we will see yall tomorrow.*They leave*
Kellie: Yea David I have to go home so I can get fitted for my dress.*they leave*
Jay: Well I gotta go, so I can get my tux. Can yall tell Neena I will call her tomorrow with the details.*he leaves*
Mocha: Yea sure.
Rach: *to Marq* You leavin now too?
Marq: Do you want me too?
Rach: No, I just need to talk to Neena. I will be back in 10 minutes. Come on Mocha.*they go upstairs*

Neena:*settin the balloons beside her bed*yo come in
Rach:no dont u go cheesin!.... what are u thinkin?
nee:what u mean?
mocha:u kno what i mean!
nee:so i guess u guys come in here to tell me that i cant go
rach:no nee but u have to think u're 16 and he's 18..thats a big mature difference....
nee:oh god the mama lecture....*falls on bed and put a pillow over her head*
rach:nee are u listenin?
nee:*singin* la la lalalalalala
mocha:(laughin)oh rach... lets go...nee willin tonite..along with u...i think its cute!!
rach:Well if jay put one move on her imma beat his a**

*door close and nee looks to see if they gone and her phone rings*

gv:sorry to call so late but i kno rach dont give direct request so i decided to call u myself
nee:aww...soo sup jay?
jay:well i was wonderin if u wanted to meet me at the coffee shop in 10 mins so we can talk about prom ....alone...
nee:(cheesin)ok...
jay:aiight but how u pass ur sistas?
nee:hmm just leave it to me!
jay:ok well imma pick u up in 10 boo
nee:ok bye
*click*
*she hops up and gets dress....5 mins later...she creep pass mocha room*she was sleep* and went downstairs to find rach and marq "tryin to make out" LMAO
nee:*to herself*oh gosh people get a room *she continue out the back window and jay pulls up and they take off*
*At the coffee shop*
Nee: Ok so what are our colors?
Jay: Green if that's coo with you.
Nee: Yea that's perfect, I saw the perfect dress.
Jay: Ok coo. So are you cool going in a group with ya sisters.
Nee: Yea I am cool. It doesn't bother me.
Jay: Ok coo. Well I know its really late so I will take you back home.
Nee: Umm ok.
*Jay drops her off at home.*
Nee: *opens the front door*
Rach: Where were you?
Nee: Damn you scared me. I was out.
Rach: Nee. We need to talk.
Nee: Ohhhhhhhh Gosh if this is about prom and me and Jay I don't want to hear it.
Rach: I just don't want you to get hurt. There is no way things are going to work out with yall.
Nee: Ok whatever you say, but I am still going to prom with him. I am going to bed now. Good nite.*She goes upstairs*
*ok skip to prom nite*
*At Rach and Mochas house*
Kim: Can yall come on please. They are going to be here like now.
Kellie: Kim chill.
Rach: Yea for will stab yo ass.
Kim: Shut up Rach.
Mocha: Ok yall don't start. Neena you almost ready.
Nee:*yellin* Yea I am comin right now.
*knock knock*
Kim: Oo that's them. Yayyyy.
Kellie: Shut up.
*They all go downstairs and the guys are waiting for them.*
Marq: Damn Rach you look good.
Rach: *laughs* Thanx boo you do too.
Kel: Mocha you workin that dress.
Mocha: I know you workin that tux.
Kim: I see you wore some pink.
Brandon: Yea I did. You look pretty.
Kim: Thanx you do too.
Kellie: Well David aren't you going to say something.
David: Huh Oh yea. You look good.
Kellie: mmhmm you do too.
Jay: Neena you look really nice.
Neena:*blushing* Thanx you do too.
R*M&N's parents: Ok picture time.*They take pix and the couples are outro to the prom*
*At the prom*
*They are dancin to back that thang up then a slow song comes on*
Marq: Are you having a good time?
Rach: Yea, cuz I am with you.*smiles and they dance closer*
Mocha: I can tell they are havin a good time.
Kel: Yea just like us. *they dance closer*
Kim: Brandon will you please dance.
Brandon: Nope.
Kim: Fine I am outro.
Brandon: Ok come on. *they go and dance close*
Kellie and David are dancin close.
*Jay and Nee are dancin outside(the dancefloor is kinda small)
Jay: So are you having a good time?
Nee: Yea and mocha and Rach are being great.
Jay: *laughs* Oh look a shooting star. Make a wish.
Nee: *closes her eyes hard and makes a wish*
Jay:*kinda laughs* Did you make it?
Nee: Yea.
Jay: So what did you wish for?
Nee: Courage.
Jay: For what.
Nee: To do this. *she leans in and gives him a long kiss*
Jay: *is stunned* wow.
Nee: What. Did I do something bad?
Jay: No.
Nee: Then what is it?
Jay: I was wishing for that. *pauses* Well I guess both of our wishes came true then.*he kisses her again and they dance real close*
