Arafin's chosen Avatar..... you could tell already that she no longer carried that title. her eyes were set to violet, with silver coils in them. her oceanic-blue hair had been colored a light brown to match the camoflauge clothing she was now wearing. that was why you had not seen her during the battle with the Emerald Dragon.... she advanced towards you slowly, making no noise in the grass. she crouched over you, a malicious grin playing on her face. you tried to scream at her, but found that your voice box was one of the many parts of you that were not working at the moment. she put her finger to her lips, and hushed you.*~*~ how? Paralysis Wave, a common elfish spell. casting it on all Spirit Lockets in the area made it easy enough to paralyze all of you, even the heavilly shielded. why? because i have orders as the new Master Sentinel. some of you look very familiar, tis a pitty. am i going to kill you? no, those are not my orders. ~*~*she stood up and moved away from you, headed for Psyke. she crouched down beside him, and took the Talisman that he wore around his neck. she also took his Spirit Locket, which she found in the pack that he carried with him. she stood up, and began to make rounds. she took every last Spirit Locket from the group, including Treyvan's, and Faeren's that you had picked up in the Temple. she also took the small charm from the front of Kaia's dress. on a last note, she took Fire Song's Flute, Idioma, and Kaori's visor. you were forced to watch as she rummaged through every pack, pocket and pouch of everybody lying paralyzed on the ground. she took anything of value that could possibly have helped you. the Star Dust from Norika, the bottled Spirit from Fire Song, all of your money and charms, all of your Spheres, all of your spiritual gifts, until eventually, you were left with just your weapons and a few traveling provisions. everything that she had taken, she dumped into a portal. you were not sure where it went, or if it had stayed intact. she stood up, and smiled.*~*~ your valueable possessions now belong to Ma'ar. do not worry- they won't be destroyed or melted down, or anything like that. to those of you who have lost Spirit Lockets, i suggest that you be kind to us Sentinels.... lest we crush the locket and send you to the Spirit River. ~*~*she shook a strand of hair from her shoulder.*~*~ oh, and may i add..... that sword and flute..... what did they call themselves? Idioma and Aedeiah? they will provide a charming decorative touch to our dungeons...... oh, and to their bonds, dont try to communicate with them. it will result in a painful backlash on your part, and theirs. best to avoid direct contact...... one last order of buisness before i depart. ~*~*she picked up the Talisman that she had taken from Psyke.*~*~ ......this must be your fathers, is it not? shame that he isnt alive to deal with it being taken from his last child. i may not be able to use it, but this, being the last Talisman left by the Faerie Gods, will please Ma'ar greatly..... if i remember correctly, the other 5 were crushed after their bearrers were slain. so then, it comes down to this. since i doubt that you will follow me willingly, i can use this to bring you along. you really should have left it with Rain or Mystique.... ~*~*she shrugged, and turned around. a portal formed before her.*~*~ ....you can expect to hear from me shortly..... ~*~*she stepped in, and as the portal closed, you were released from the power of the spell. you sat up, and shook your head. you were speechless...... after all that you had done to get this far, and you were not back to where you had started....*~*~ [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
