She stepped back as he spoke, bright eyes now hot with tears, but now they mingled on the verge of anger. She felt the urge, to slap him, pummel him for all she was worth, but she felt that it would solve nothing. She would still hurt. Her voice was tight, restrained, her eyes looking up at him, betrayed-ly. "Why, Yiakar, why??. Why would you hurt him like that!? Why would you hurt me??" She sniffed, blinked and looked back up at him. "You never meant for things to go wrong did you? You never left a way out of your 'plan' or so you call it. You should have assumed things would go farther, you should have..." She broke off, a single tear falling down her cheek. A tear created in happiness, and falling in anger and pain. She wiped it away, with a sharp motion. "Now Ferdie's almost dying because of that!" Her voice rose, and she strained to keep it down. "How could you do that..." She trailed off, her voice almost a whisper, the hurt filling her heart, her gaze was at the ground, the soft green carpet, and surprisingly found her cheeks wet, she rubbed at under her eyes, to clear them, but they didn't stop. She wished she could just run away. Run and die. But her body was rooted there limply, too stunned to move. How could she have been so stupid. Her hands clenched in a first, and she willed herself to punch him, but it never came. She looked up to him, eyes bright and shining, full of hurt, distrust, and betrayal.
