The Sudan Peace Act (USA) has the potential to put pressure on Khartoum, but is not being used. The Act was flawed in failing to immediately place sanctions for past crimes, instead placing too much discretion in the hands of the presidential administration to determine future crimes and appropriate responses.

The administration seems to be taking advantage of those weaknesses of the bill to deal with Sudan's government as they wish.

What's the best way to pressure the government to enforce the Act?
