Subject: summer summary

Hey everyone,

I just got online to check my email and the message board and was disappointed to find that neither had anything new for me to read. But seeing as how I have yet to contribute to this forum, I don't think I can complain about the message board's lack of change.

So here's the news from Luray...
After beach week (which, by the way, was a fantastic time) I had one whole day to recover at home in VA before I had to drive up to Massachusetts for a job interview. To make a long story short, the interview went very well and it looks like I'll be teaching Physics and Chemistry at a small private high school outside of Boston next year. The school is awesome and I'm really excited about the job.

After the interview I spent a week bumming around Connecticut (many thanks to my former roommate and his fam. for putting me up). Liam and I drove around "da hood" a lot and even went into Boston for a day. I drove back to Luray on Memorial Day, though it required braving monsoon-like conditions on the Northeast's highways.

Now, I'm back at home and I can officially say I'M BORED. I've actually started reading books again in-between my trips to the refrigerator and the coffeepot.

I suppose I'll be getting a summer job soon, though nothing to time consuming. I still need to try to visit everyone sometime this summer, so I refuse to compromise my weekends for some waiter-type job, or anything like that.

If any of you all are also bored, and are interested in exploring the wonders of Western VA, don't hesitate to come on down. I will be getting a cell phone and a new email address before the end of the summer, but I'll tell you what they are when I get them.
