Frank, I know You realize Terry is making a constructive observation based on the fact that We all spent 3 intense days together last year with Caral Koch and Jan Ledoux learning every aspect of appraising Boerboels. I also know You have a natural ability to do this better than most. The point that terry and all of us want to make clear to anyone looking in for information and knowledge to help them make decisions for themselves is that the appraisal is only for one real purpose. It is the one and only real breeding tool that an owner can get that will allow them to make correct choices in there breeding programs. Without the complete breakdown of each individual part of the dog and the detailed description of the condition of each, the rounded number score that the sabt and others use to sell dogs and to breed by is worse than useless and is actually harming the Boerboel and it's future by giving an entirely false sense of the condition and breed worthiness of the dog. If folks out there are basing there programs on these numbers alone and many are, I would personally not spend a dime for one of those Boerboels. And when I say something like that I am not speaking for anyone but Myself. But anyway, I am very happy for You guys Frank, and wish you only the best. Sincerely, Ed Davis
