Subject: Thanks to Our S.A. Friends

My wife and I just returned, 6-19-04, from a wonderful trip to South Africa. I would like to publicly thank my host/hostess and those who welcomed me and my wife, Linda, into their homes as if we were long lost 'family'. We had a great trip, 'very' much due to the hospitality of Jan & Pat Ledoux of Egoli Boerboels. Jan took off work the entire time we were in Africa in order to make our trip a trip that would creates memories that would last a lifetime. We covered the Eastern Cape, the Western Cape and Freestate provinces of South Africa. We visited 'many' kennels as well farms with boerboels. We even stopped at homes we knew not the owner and talked with them if they were available, if the owner wasn't available we just discussed their dogs. If I were to try and break our trip into parts it might be something like this; the beautiful scenery we were able to enjoy, the 'many, many' kennels and dogs we seen, the hunting Safaris I went on, and at the top of the list was the hospitality of the South African people we met. The hospitality that my wife and I were shown, by 'all' people we met, was as 'truly amazing' as the country itself.
