David, I am so very grateful that you have participated in this board and genetic discussions. You are putting these issues in words that all can understand. I only wish I could!! Pedigrees should include every bit of information available, Health issues(ALL), pictures, colors, progeny to the date issued, everything that might be of help in the betterment of this breed. Especially one that seems, at least from my experience, to need all the help and attention we can give it to improve and survive. Why hide these details??? Why sell someone a loaded gun of genetic problems without a map out or realistic path thru??? None of us want to make things worse for the Boerboel, at least unless the motive is proffit alone at the expence of all else like RONNIE SWART. We all need every single tool we can beg, borrow, or steal to do this dog justice. And in my Humble opinion, information withheld from the Boerboel Buying public that can only be for monetery reasons should be exposed and RANTED on until the end of time or until we get the improvements we need to treat this dog with the Honour and respect it deserves!!Sorry to get wound up again.
