唔同牌子都有佢唔同既聲 ,買邊個係睇你鍾意邊種聲啦 !!
eg. dukoff既聲好爆好硬 ;ottolink既就比較dark and沙啞 !

至於幾多號易吹係睇個人既 ,唔同人有唔同既氣量 ,0岩我就唔一定0岩你

I dun like Dukeoff....I think Lawtons are nice, easy to control as well.

Hi Holly,

You've asked a question that's exceptionally common! Haha, my advice is, to choose a mouthpiece (be it metal/ebonite) as if you're choosing a condom (if you're a man) or a bra (if you're a lady)! I'm not joking. There're a number of different factors determining your best suited mpc :

1. Brand - as what U've asked (I use Yanagisawa metal mpc)
2. Size (usually meaning the tip opening) - the larger the more edgy it sounds and the more suitable for rock
3. Your breathing control and embouchre - different individuals produces diff.sound on the same sax/mpc!
4. Your choice on reeds
5. Your saxophone model
6. Your target style of music - do you play classical or jazz or rock, which subtype?

You've got to bring with your instrument and reeds to test which metal mpc would produce the perfect match for your "dream sound". Don't buy one without your personal experience.

Hope you would find out your beloved combinations.

唔好意思,因為我之前唔能夠打中文,我啲英文右係有限公司,
所以只能是但打啲問下囉,
其實呢啲我都知,只不過我唔係吹tenor 架,我係幫朋友問,
同埋想知道大家ga意見,因為可以參考下呀嗎,
敢有無人聽過呢個Beechler ga牌子呢?

beechler makes some pretty nice mpcs for alto and soprano, but I don't have any personal experience with their tenor piece so I am in no place giving any comments. You might want to try otto link, dukoff or even berg larson and see which of them suit you taste. Like the rest of the people in this forum would say, you gotta really bring your horn to try those mouthpieces out, and bare in mind that every mouthpiece is different, regardless it is the same brand or the same 'size', so you really have to try everysingle one that is available at the store to find the 'best' out of the bunch.
