Keeping up with the issues and politics in Amherst County, Virginia. R. Creigh Deeds is our party's nominee for
Governor. Jody Wagner former State Treasurer under Governor Warner, and former Secretary of Finance under
Governor Kaine is the democratic nominee for Lieutenant Governor. Steve Shannon is seeking the Attorney General
Post. Virginia recently went blue under Obama and the state is a test spot for a republican come back. The
Amherst County Democrats meet once a month (the second tuesday). We welcome all guests.
