Subject: Mara's and my weekend!

Sorry for re-telling, but I just wanted to rescue this over here so Mara will still be ablle to read it! ;)

Hi folks!
Here comes my report!

First of all, I shall greet you all from her. She misses you all. She told me she'll be back at the beginning of March. Then her holidays are over.

The weekend started on Friday. We met at 4.30pm. Had a long talk about SW and Tolkien (:D) and much fun. Mara's German is VERY good. We watched the Simpsons (strange German voices! ;D) and stayed up till 1am. :)

Saturday we went into the city, showed a few old places (the Market Church for example), the most important one was the new town hall. It's popular to bring guesst there. The tower where you can have a view over the whole city was closed but we had a look at the miniature city models (in ancient time, during the World War II and today). We had luck and found a tourist group, a lady explained everything. So we joined secretely. :)
In the afternoon (it was cold COLD, Mara, wasn't it?) we went to the Royal Gardens of Herrenhause (very popular too). The Gradens are closed in Winter, but there also a new area dealing with the Rain Forrest and so we went there and learned a lot about flowers, butterflies and ants. :)
In the evening we played games (Lord of the Rings and Ring Wraiths) and had a lot of fun.

Sunday we first drove to Noekkvi (well, drove is not the correct word - we slid more, cause it began to snow. And ice was there, too. :)
We just had a look at Noekkvi (he has a big and long winter coat, yes Mara? ;D And he isn't very tall... ). He had a little fight with another horse friend, but it was all a game and funny to watch. So he feels good again! :)
In the evening my father had invited us for dinner. He was quite excited causeMara is from Sydney, the city he loves most in the world. :)
We had a good time. :)
We went to bed then and woke up at 6am. Mara's train was going at 8am. So we were a little bit afraid cause the weather was quite bad. But I guess she'll come to the train well. She should be in Berlin right now.

I'll hope we'll meet again, dear Mara (and greetings from Benny the little Koala! ;))

Yubby yub!
