I haven't learnt it officially,but I thought of taking German before I finally decided on Japanese :). I even bought a german grammar book (remember, Wicket?). It was very interesting, but the particles gave me a hard time. I guess it was because self-learning is quite tough.

Good work! It's great to learn another language! It's a good change from all the technical and info-chewing subjects you have to to. I always found Japanese relaxing. The same for English and Chinese. But now, I can no longer take these languages! Sigh.... now I have only my Maths and microprocessors with me.... grrr...
