Oh wow, you should still do it! :D Will they pay you for your work, and will it be the same as other people make? If so, you will probably be paid rather well, and you can afford to live. New York is really nice, because it is easy to get around, everything is close by and you can walk. Where I live in the US, it's not like that, you have to have a car to go anyplace. Even if you have to deal with finding and paying a lot for an apartment, it will be something you remember forever, living abroad. You can't beat it! :D
