Hey Ani!
No. You didn't read wrong, it's me! I'm back! after like a year of being away. How is everyone? I haven't been doing much. except I graduated from Uni in December! Yay! I am now a fully qualified vet! :)

Anyway, I just have to reply to this post because like Wicket, I am a huge LOTR fan! :) Yes, the book is excellent. Read it! And don't be daunted by its size. It really is great reading, and in fact when you finish it you'll wish that you could read more!

Wicket is right, read the Hobbit first though, it will explain a lot and is also a great book. I just can't understand how anyone could watch the fellowship movie and not be dying to find out what happens next! I am dying to see the two towers even though i have read the book and know what happens. It really is a great book, really well written and the way he describes things, you feel you are really there and experiencing these things with the characters. I even shed a tear sometimes whilst reading it I got so involved. That's the first time for me when ever reading a book!

Yes Wicket, they did make some changes, some good some not so good, but I think they managed to capture the real essence of the book especially in the final scene. That was so well done!
