I haven't had a chance to see it yet but I hear it's great and most of the reviews I've read are positive. Most importantly, it has made a boatload of money, which means Joss Whedon as a director is a commercially viable option now. This means--like Chris Nolan with Inception after Dark Knight was so successful--they'll let Joss make any project he wants! Maybe we'll see more bigscreen Buffy after all, or more Firefly or Dollhouse.

Guess we gotta fire up the Voy to consume all other projects, threaten the evil god Joss with the vengenance of Cthulu for the privilege of sacrificing the next quarter billion for Buffy and Angel to show.

15 years of loyalty, people (and more for those who liked, at least, the first half of the original movie before kazui pfui ruined it).

It seems that Joss still really believes that people will let you down when you need them most. That is pure ego talking to me. He left a nice thank you over on Whedonesque, however.

Guess Dollhouse still rules his interest, if you consider his interest in Alien as his fav movie/Prometheus "motivation" when god doesn't exist; and the rise of Dollhouse in the comics HUGELY. Guess raising a hullabaloo is more important than "new story." Smells of Veronica Mars so, what's left: Sarah Conner AS the terminator. jesus.

Joss has the talent, always could find "the moment," but I would love REAL feminism, not showing me the ever eternal LACK of what it looks like.
