Subject: I'm fine

I wasn't at work Thurs and Fri due to Thanksgiving closure. I sent a message before I left Weds. I ended up staying home on Thurs because after I had the car all packed to go (about 5:00), I had a problem with the car. I called AAA and it took over an hour for them to come. If I had left after that, we would be eating around midnight so I just stayed home. I had other stuff to do the rest of the weekend so I just didn't go. Not having leftovers for the weekend was a blow! I had roast beef hash for lunch Fri and beef barley soup for supper. I told my sister that she couldn't re-freeze the turkey so she would have to cook it. She has never even cooked a whole chicken, much less a turkey! I told her what she had to do but suggested she have her girlfriend over to help cook it. She said she probably was too busy at work (in retail). It should be interesting what she ends up doing! I told her to save the tail for me - freeze it and I can bring it back at Christmas.
