update...........Gary came out of surgery fine..(that was done Wednesday night)..they are monitoring him quite closely in ICU. He had to go to Green Bay hospital as our little town hospital doesn't have an intensive cardiac care unit) Yes there are disadvantages to living in a small town) but we wouldn't change our location at all. They thought that perhaps he would be coming home today (Friday) but now there are complications with blood pressure being way to low ( he has high blood pressure normally) and they are needing to do some more blood work on him today as the blood count numbers they have they have concerns. (YIKES)
His daughter Nicole lives in Green Bay (its about 1 1/4 from our home) She & her husband are there constantly with him.(as much as the hospital will allow that is) Gary asked me to stay at home & keep things as "normal" as possible. We have two cat and one of them HAS TO HAVE DAILY MEDICATION given to him which is difficult to do for even him. Would cause him MORE STRESS (THAT HE DOESNT NEED) if I were not here to take care of their special needs. (It IS frustrating not to be by his side..but the best thing is to not have additional stress as things are still in critical way for him) Please continue to have him (and me in your prayers.................;( ;(
