A tiny point..."wish that I had never drove" should be "wish that I had never driven".

It is fascinating the way you are alternating between points of view. When you mentioned it in your preface, I was thinking it would seem too choppy, but you've handled it very well. What a great idea; very different, and giving us insight into each character's reactions to the same moment in time.
