and the computer feed was great! What's even better, I could sing along with the competitors all I wanted and no one would stare at me (that is gauche when you are there at the performance). Also, when it was over, no problem with getting dinner or getting to bed. Just turn off the computer and go upstairs!

Some things about this age are really marvelous!

The winners? A couple of feel good stories here.

The quartet winner was a group that has been trying for several years, moving up year by year, but this year was THE LAST CHANCE, as the four members had been scattered to the four winds by job relocations. Their homes are now literally coast to coast!

The chorus winner from the Chicago area had before this year finished 2nd EIGHT years in a row! They came with T-Shirts proclaiming "Eight is Enough!" Now, THERE is persistence!
