:: Fractured arm held protectively to her breast out of instinct, the wounded creature kept her eyes closed, as if feigning a deep slumber. Her body ached with a dull thud that she couldn't escape and the fear that seeped back into her form only made things worse. Before, she had been shattered once and then fastened back together with fragil bonds that were only shattered once more. As he placed her down once more and wrapped her broken form with the fabric of the blanket, her muscles instantly tensed, the instinct for flight still strong though her body quite weak. Tossed around, swat at, and restrained, it was a wonder that she still posessed the wit that she did. Not wanting to be hurt again, she allowed her mind to take flight from the room and the hurt; back to a time she had been happiest. Her childhood. Nothing could hurt her now. ::
