Subject: October Meeting Reminder

Hi there everyone....

Just your monthly reminder about Parent Sharing Group's next meeting...... Wednesday October 4th at 7 p.m. at Good Beginnings Day Nursery Community complex in Wdsk. If you require childcare during the meeting please call the daycare at 421-0687 ext 24 and leave a message...one week prior to the meeting to be assured a spot.

Also reminders of the upcoming workshops that families can attend in Tillsonburg. Tuesday September 26 is Communicating for Success....from 6:30 - 8:30 at the Livingston Centre. The focus for this workshop is to help families communicate more effectively with school staff on what they need/want for their special needs children.

Tuesday October 3rd, Lindsay Moir is speaking about special education issues in Tillsonburg from 7 - 9 p.m. at the Livingston Centre. Current Spec Ed issues are on the agenda as well as any new info that Lindsay may have for that night. This is always an informative evening. If your child with special needs has just started attending school, it is a good place to learn about all those accroynms etc..(IEP, IPRC, ISA, etc) and there is always opportunity to ask individual questions at the end of the workshop.
