Here we go again!

This is just so crazy! We were told when we got the corners of Jacob's ingrown toenails removed that within 2 weeks they would be healed. No problems HA! Tonight was they second time since it was done on September 20th that we have been to the emerg., so now its antibiotics for 10 days instead of 1 week and applying polisporin and clean dressing twice a day instead of once. The doctor also did a swab because he was concerned about the drainage from underneath the toe. I guess its still better than last Thanksgiving as we spent it in hospital as Jacob had pneumonia at least he's home this year. I also had an eye exam today as there is some concerns about the side effects of the prednisone and being on it for long periods. Well I was only on it for 5 months but I have started developping cataracts which is one of the rare side of long term prednisone use. So now I have to keep getting them checked to make sure they don't worsen too quick. Chris
