Hey everyone! =D

Thanks for following the board to its new home! =D Let's continue to make this one of the best, if not THE best, places to discuss SANTA BARBARA on the web!!! =D

Couple things. The most important is that there's a good chance that the old messages may be gone forever. I've downloaded them to my computer, so I have them, but it's a question of what to do with them from there. I'm going to keep looking into it, but since they're on my computer at work (I only have WebTV at home), this will have to be done in my spare time. If I can do anything with them, I'll let you know through a post here. But the messages I was most concerned about--the ones from the first couple months of the board that set everything up--are already lost forever as I didn't realize that messages were only saved for a year and not permanently.

So we may have to start over. But as board regulars always know, you can feel free to post any questions you have here and someone who knows will post the answer as soon as they see your question. I myself don't mind reanswering things, and while I can't speak for them, I'm sure most other people don't either. =)

One other thing I want to say really quickly...I run this board on a strictly volunteer basis in my spare time--I'm not paid to do this at all. Believe me, no one wishes more than I do that this board was my full-time job!!! =P And, like all of you, sometimes I have more free time than others. But I always keep up with this board as best I can. I think everyone's been very understanding of that though & I appreciate it. =)

Also, while I've tried to let as many people know as possible of the board's new addy, including people who have it as a link on their SANTA BARBARA websites, I'd appreciate it if you'd pass it on to others you know who post here in case some people may have gotten lost. =)

Now--onwards and upwards!!! Let's start posting!!! =D
