1. CAIN GARVER (Scott Jaeck, 1987-1988)
I have to admit that, at times, I came close to liking Cain (mainly with Andrea). However, when the Utah story line ended, I would have been fine with it if Cain had left the show. I thought it was a mistake to make Cain best friends with Cruz & Eden, especially because Cain and Cruz had no chemistry as friends. For instance, during Cruz's bachelor party, there was a closeness between Cruz and most of the other characters in the scene. The scenes between Cain and Cruz seemed forced, in my opinion. And how did Cain become Cruz's best man at the wedding? Sure, Pearl got sick, but surely Cruz would have picked Mason or even Ted before he would even consider Cain.

2. EMILY DiNAPOLI (Julie Condra, 1989-1990)
Why, of the three DiNapoli sister, did they keep Emily? I liked Celeste & loved Lisa (who had become an interesting character within a few days). When they got rid of Lisa and Celeste, we got several boring love scenes between Greg and Emily before they eventually disappeared without explanation.

3. T.J. DANIELS (Chip Mayer, 1987-1989)
T.J. was probably the most annoying character on SB ever (besides B.J. and her family). He was romantically involved with four major characters -- Laken, Kelly, Sophia and Augusta -- which makes one wonder what they would see in this sleazy guy. Kelly betrayed Jeffrey, her second true love, with T.J. because...?

4. RAFE CASTILLO (Robert Fontaine, Jr., 1992-1993)
Extremely annoying character.

5. RAFAEL CASTILLO (Henry Darrow, 1989-1992)
I have to admit that the reason I disliked Rafael might be because he basically pushed Cruz into pursueing Suzanne while he and Eden weren't even divorced yet. But I didn't really like Rafael prior to that either.

6. THE WHOLE WALKER CLAN
Do I really have to explain this one?
