Subject: Queen & Purity slow down to a trot and cool down...

They shake their heads and slow down to a walk talking between themselves...
'Queenie, why didn't anyone come? Don't they like us? Is that why they won't run with us?' tears begin to form in Purity's eyes as she speaks. She was just starting to feel comfortable and safe. But now that she is ready to give there is no one to take. The mare leans her head against Queen's shoulder as tears silently fall from her eyes.
'Shhh, Purity, they probably just didn't realize...' Queen half-heartedly says. She has always hated it when her sister cried because instead of breaking down and bawling Purity made no sound. The tears were the only witness to her sister's feelings. For years she was her sister's only ray of understanding. Queen was fire and brimstone but Purity was a peaceful lagoon with no other sounds than the rippling water. Her own eyes begin to tear as her heart breaks for her sister. She quickly dodges her head that none may see this weakness and continues to be strong for her sister...
