Date Posted: 05:13:44 10/01/08 Wed Steve Skilton, 22, from Southampton, has been hit with an 18 month ban, following being convicted of pulling a wheelie at 82mph in a 30mph zone. Skilton – who also received 39 penalty points and a £600 fine (plus £70 costs), was caught pulling the stunt on a forward-facing ‘Truvelo’ camera, believing the absence of front plates would prevent his being traced. Image recognition experts were called in, who were able to identify Skilton by his unique jacket, of which only two have been imported into the UK.
