Date Posted: 13:36:43 10/02/08 Thu The first step of the trial of seven defendants accused of murdering Gerry Tobin as he returned home from the Bulldog Bash is underway as a jury is sworn in. The trial is expected to last for up to eight weeks at Birmingham Crown Court. Sean Creighton, 44, and Karl Garside, 45, pleaded not guilty to murder during a previous hearing in February, while Simon Turner, 41, Dane Garside, 42, Malcolm Bull, 53, Dean Taylor, 47, and 46-year-old Ian Cameron entered their not guilty pleas last December.
