Date Posted: 05:46:11 09/07/07 Fri Korean manufacturer Hyosung continues to develop their place in the British motorcycle market, as their sales figures after just five months exceeds their total for the previous year. In 2006, 368 new bikes were sold after EP Barrus took up the reins as importer and distributor in April. By the end of July this year, 532 bikes have been registered, with the 2006 sales total passed in May – a 250% increase on the previous year’s total at the same stage. “Hyosung is carving a reputation for great value, with several new models, a wider range and a great network of dealers increasing the bikes’ appeal,” said Matthew Gilder, general manager of the Barrus Vehicle Division, adding that Hyosung are on target to record 1,000 sales this year. The dealer network has also been expanded, with 26 dealers added this year, making 88 to date with further expansion planned. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
