The 2008 MCN London Motorcycle Show, at the ExCel in London’s Docklands, is set to build on last year’s success with the announcement that all the major manufacturers will have official stands.

Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, BMW, KTM, Ducati and Harley-Davidson have all taken space and will be displaying a wide range of bikes.

The main feature on Honda’s stand will be the new CBR1000RR Fireblade, featuring a “radical new styling and tiny size”.

The all-new 2008 model Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade will be dominating Honda’s stand.

Kawasaki will counter with the new ZX-10R – and will also feature a whole range of new, 250cc, 33bhp bikes, ranging from a sportbike to a ‘mini adventure motorcycle’.

Yamaha has entered the 125cc, ‘learner sports’ arena with their YZF-R125 – modelled extensively on the R6, this bike will be looking to drag sales away from Honda’s hugely successful CBR125RR – the bike that has taken the leaner market by storm and been a major sales success since it launched. The Tenere 660 adventure has also been revised and will be featuring

Suzuki’s new Hayabusa and B-King will be on Suzuki’s stand, along with a new GSX-R600 and a still-unseen matching 750 are part of the 2008 range.

Harley-Davidsons’ 2008 new models, the Rocker and Rocker C will be on display – the Fat Bob (no relation) is guaranteed to draw the cruiser crowds.

BMW are looking to do something different as ever; check out the air-cooled, boxer powered BMW HP2 Sport, boasting a World Superbike spec chassis with a 140bhp evolution of the familiar flat-twin. A BMW F800GS will be on the stand.

The MCN London Motorcycle show is at the ExCel arena, Docklands, London and runs from 31st January to 3rd February 2008
