Subject: Enquiry finds Hislop “not to blame” for fatal crash

 A fatal accident enquiry has concluded that Steve Hislop was not to blame for the helicopter crash when he lost his life.

Sheriff Principal Edward Bowen attributed the crash to a tragic accident, rather than pilot error which air accident investigators had previously highlighted in a report.

Hislop's mother Margaret said: "It has been left quite open but it is the end of the matter as far as I am concerned. What made him change his course that day, we will never know, but it is finished now and we have to move on."
