With the existing centres in Banbury and Oxford closing, the Driving Standards Agency has been struggling to find a suitable site for a new centre in Oxfordshire that would allow them to run the off-road skills element that calls for an emergency stop in excess of 30mph. A DSA spokesman said: "We have been unable to find a suitable site to build a multi-purpose test centre in Oxfordshire, despite a four-year search. In the meantime, the DSA is negotiating with a view to offering a motorcycle test centre service three days a week in the car park." John Angus, operations director of the Kassam Stadium, said: ""We're working with the DSA on a contract. It's something we're more than happy to do, as we have the space."
