Date Posted: 05:35:06 09/23/09 Wed A call has gone out to Yeovil bikers to help with life-saving work. Charity Yeovil Freewheelers transports urgent blood samples, biopsies, MRI scans, prescription drugs and patient notes for intensive care units for the NHS, but is short of riders. The charity runs three bikes - a Pan European and two Deuvilles. The transport is usually from Yeovil District Hospital. Volunteers must be 21 or above, hold a full motorcycle licence for over a year and ideally have an Institute of Advanced Motoring qualification or be prepared to gain one. To find out more, contact Wendy David on 07774 017349 or Mike Burt on 07500 778924 [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
