Date Posted: 05:15:20 10/01/09 Thu An Exeter biker is refusing to pay a parking fine given for failing to buy a ticket that she could not display. Sheona Keith, 19, said she could not display the ticket on her motorbike because the machine printout at Exeter Central Station was not sticky. Sheona claima she was not taking up a parking space, but was parked next to a bay. Sheona is fighting the £70 fine, issued by private company Premier Parking Solutions and is calling for tighter regulation of such companies. (Note, something similar happened to one of the Motobke.co.uk team. Out of the blue, a parking fine notice arrived in the post, saying that the notice had been ignored. On questioning this, the company said the ticket had been attached to the windscreen… of a 250 Virago that did not have a windscreen! The fine was halved.)
