Author: Rogue [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 31/01/04 2:53am In reply to: Strega 's message, "Happy FRIDAY, y'all!!" on 30/01/04 11:02pm Not at all politically correct, but it suddenly came to mind and it's apt. *g* A Chinaman and a Greek had their shops beside each other, and every Friday afternoon, Charlie and Luigi would be out sweeping the footpaths in front of their shops. Every Friday, Luigi would say to Charlie: "What day is it, Charlie?" And every Friday, Charlie would reply: "Is Fliday". At which, Luigi would crack up laughing and go back into his shop. One day, Charlie finally got sick of this and had some lessons in elocution. He repeated to himself often: "Friday, Friday, Friday." When the next Friday came, they were both out sweeping their footpaths as usual, when Luigi asked the question: "What day is it, Charlie?"
