One of mine goes around the side of my ribcage, and that was rather unamusing, but I almost fell asleep during the one on my shoulder. *g*

In general, it depends on your pain threshold. The three places I would avoid are over the spine, down the ribs or across the lower back. That�s just me, though.

There's also the fact that it's a once only event. Within two weeks, it's healed and done. So if you want it bad enough, you can deal with that.
