I live in Charlevoix Michigan. I followed the story back in 1996. Three years ago I lost my husband (Sloppy Joe was his adopted town name.) He was the love of my life-childhood sweethears. He died at a fishing tournament that he initiated with Mike Avery of Michigan Outdoor Magazine. My husband had a weekly fishing report on the radio. By noon he was dead from a massive heart attack at the age of 51. The shock and grief was beyond imagination.
I say John and Patsey on Larry King live not too long ago. The faith they have and the committment to finding the perpetrator of this terrible crime was moving. I felt-if they could get through all that they have, I could get through my own grief. My hears go out to the entire family, when death robs you of your family in a sequence that is not the expectation-your life is never the same. Thank you for staying together and showing the world, you would not let this tear apart your family---Marlene
