I think the author meant that Holly came 8th in the jig. There is no step about jig it is a step about reel and that was only 5 places. Holly must have danced extremely well and was given 8th place in the jig (which they gave individual places for including 8th place) as well as overall winners who were recalled. Holly in fact could of came 8th in the jig but not been recalled that's how the WS works and that's irish dancing for you! You got to love it! Well done Holly.
