MBB summer preview was a nice read. It will be a very open race again this season. LIU does have a lot returning, RMU looks strong, and even Wagner has some great potential. Of course this is early speculation so each team has a lot of positives.

One stat that kills me - Monmouth 7 straight wins over CCSU. We need to fix this big time!

I know there is no doubt in our minds Howie is the best caoch in the NEC, but Calloway has really built a great program too. Of course Green has been doing it at FDU for years. Deane (WAG) has the resume and potential, and Ferry (LIU), Brown (MSM) and Nash (SFNY) are some great young coaches. Other than DeSantis at QU, are there any coaches on the "hot seat"?

The one thing I really like about the NEC is the coaches. Do any of these guy ever get looked at by bigger programs? Was Calloway/Green ever considered for say Seton Hall or Rutgers openings? Have any former NEC coaches ever went on to bigger programs?

Also, looks like Big Deli isn't on the SHU roster. What happened there?

I just checked it, The reason for no "BIG DELI" on the rooster is, They haven't updated it. The 2 new freshmen guards are not listed, either.
