With a sudden blow from behind it lets out a scream of surprize and terror. The dragon's tallons hit their mark, snaring the unprepared animal in a binding death grip. The herd, alerted by the screams, scatters and heads back into the thick forest, leaving their fallen to his fate. ----- ~Her black razor tallons close on the tender flesh as she soars over, snaring the elk with her powerfull hind claws. The elk screams in fear as she soars low over the fleeing herd and she watches with a slight smile at the sight of so many easy targets, though she has all she came for. She silence the whining animal as not to alert others to her successfull kill and invite unwanted dinner guests.
