Great job! All three of you touched upon the point that I really wanted you to get after reading the chapter. I want you, as Christians who are soon to be baptized, to always remember that even though it is impossible for us to be "model Christians" (whatever that may mean) all the time, our hearts should always be sincere in our pursue of God.
All these weeks, the speakers who spoke at our church kept mentioning that it is easy for Christians at our society to treat our faith like some neat decorations in our otherwise completely self-serving lives. Sometimes even people we care for and people that we are supposed to look up to tell us to live our lives in a way that is absolutely not different from lives without being redeemed and continuously renewed by God. How sad?! What a waste?!
If life is all about getting good grades, getting advance degrees, geeting cars, getting houses, getting married, getting children, and getting the kids through the whole cycle, why do we need to have God in our lives? I mean, these are not bad things, but if that is all there is to life, why would you need faith?
Yet sadly, like you all have pointed out, so many God's children live like casual agnostics. Well, I pray that at least three young persons in this world will try to get away from that downfall.
Blessings to you all! Thank you for taking this journey together and hope God will give you time and energy to continue.
