Okay, perhaps the question sounds kind of overly elementary (as in elementary schools), but let me kind of tell you the reasoning behind my asking you this question:
I am often amazed that people who have been attending church for many, many years, still hold on to the dualistic viewpoints. As far as good and bad is concerned, some professing Christians still subscribe to the belief that.... When we die, the souls of "good people" go to live in heaven, where Jesus ("the good god") is the ruler. The "bad people" go to hell, where Satan rules as "the dark lord". Most popular cultural expressions (stories, movies) stress this kind of the "good side" and the "dark side" being of same power, but opposite values. If anything, they add to the charm and mystery of the dark powers.
