Great to hear he won the award but I can't find any reference to it on the web, only 2000 awards(!) not even 2001! Where didi you find out he'd won. If you are calling from the U.K. do you know when we can next see him in the theatre or tv? Kind regards, a fellow fanatic

I found the post on a "Broadway" message board. The message was dated May 18, 2002. I haven't been able to find anything else out about it either.

Sorry, can't help you out there either. I live here in the States. I'll try to find the time to do some research soon. Hopefully, someone from the UK will fill us in. :) G

Thanks for taking the trouble to reply. Always good to hear from fellow-admirers - he is such an under-rated talent. Cheers. Glyn

Finally found another mention of the award. You can find it here http://www.roundabouttheatre.org/awardhst.htm

No kidding! I guess even a small write up would be too much to hope for. Jeesh! :(

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/playbill/20020603/en_playbill/110576 has a small playbill notice with a little more bg.
However I can't find anything on the publishers on the Web; they don't seem to have their own site.
The awards are for debuts only, so no competition!!!!
