David Warner's birthplace - Manchester - was the hometown of
classic horror actor George ZUCCO (1886-1960). David is held
in only the highest esteem, respect, and admiration by we
longtime horror fans for the CLASS he conveys to films. If
anyone has a GENUINE email address for David, PLEASE email
this soldier and veteran of Operation Desert Storm at
"joseph_hammell@hotmail.com" or "joseph_hammell@yahoo.com".
Sincerest THANKS to all and a proud salute to david.

I haven't tracked down a direct contact e-mail address but his U.K. fan club is 46 Albemarle Street, London W1X 4PP. Good luck - let us know if you have success.

Is that a *fan club* address or his snail-mail (agent's) address? I was under the impression that he didn't want a fan club and this sort of unofficial online gathering place is as close as it gets. Does he have a genuine fan club that we don't know about?

Also, it's pretty doubtful that he has an e-mail address considering some comments he's made about computers and e-mail in interviews. His daughter's stopped by to chat with us here a few times, but he himself is a little old-fashioned/cautious when it comes to the Internet, it seems.

Anyway, welcome to the "club," Joe! I certainly agree with you about the class he adds to any film. (Just wish he'd have larger roles in the ones most desperately in need of his presence--Unnameable II comes to mind!)

>>Yes. I think you may be right that this is only his Agents address as I have read too that he doesn't want a fan club - I was just trying to be helpful but probably used the wrong terminology - trust me! Thinking about it, I have also read that he's not keen on computer technology. You say his daughter sometimes writes on this message board, would that be Melissa? Are you e-mailing from the U.K. like me or the U.S.A.? There doesn't seem to be any opportunity of seeing David on TV, film or theatre in the near future, I'm anxious to view something with him in soon. I went to STratford on Avon recently to see a play at the RST, just being where he has performed and is a member of their company was an experience. If he had been appearing it would have blown me away! Regards Glyn.

I would suggest you send a letter to him via his agent.

Just a personal commentary here...

An email address is personal, folks. It's as personal as one's home telephone number. Although MW has made it clear that David doesn't have a computer, to ask for something that personal is an intrusion.

If I did possess something this personal, I sure as hell would never give it out unless I had permission. And I have way too much respect for this man's privacy to do that.

It's foolish requests like this that probably push this man AWAY from his fans. Especially after one of them last year attempted to give him a scroll signed by us for his birthday that he didn't seem too thrilled to accept.

What a bleepin' shame.

Mr. Hammell, write the gentleman at his agent's address, and if you're lucky, you may get a response. That's the most appropriate way to do it. I say if you're lucky because he's an extremely, extremely busy actor and has a small amount of time on his hands. He has been kind enough to respond to other people in the past. You might get lucky.

Unfortunately we are not an official organization, and we do not have a physical location for you to visit. This is simply an Internet forum to discuss the acting career of David Warner, and it exists solely in this little area of cyberspace! Hope your tour goes well.
