I finally got mine and it's very disappointing as far as my needs are concerned. No news, the commentary is quite bland, and the widescreen-only treatment means very little detail is available in the close-ups.

There are some good sound bites in the commentary, but they are fairly few and far between. I like how Nicholas Meyer keeps saying how he was bad as a director ("I really should have shot that differently."), but a great screenwriter ("Wow! I write great dialogue"). The second quote is pretty much verbatim.

The discussion of the foot chase scene is amusing, too ("And here's David, and he's going to start running, and THAT'S as fast as he's gonna go.."). And the cute aside from Malcolm at the end: "I'm going to call David tonight and tell him how good he is in this film." Other than that you have to sit through 2 hours of Malcolm talking about dating Mary Steenburgen.
